Domain names are registered for two years paid in advance. Clients will have first refusal of the renewal of domains and will be warned well in advance of expiration dates.

Clients are welcome to upgrade their accounts with the Isle of Wight Web Hosting Company at any time. They will be given a full pro-rata refund of any unused months on the previous hosting agreement.

All web hosting accounts apart from streaming media packages are held for a minimum of 12 months, paid in advance. All initial charges must be made by credit or debit card in Pounds Sterling through this site unless by prior arrangement. Any additional charges may be paid via credit card, debit card or by cheques in pounds sterling.

MySQL databases can be added to Reseller Plus and Professional hosting accounts for no charge.

Clients can transfer away domain names at any time at no charge although refunds will not be given.

Credit card details are collected via a SSL secured server and will not be transmitted via email at any time. Furthermore transactions taking place from this site will be processed through WorldPay or PayPal and the Isle of Wight Web-Hosting Company will not receive credit card numbers.

All invoices must be paid within seven days of their receipt.

Charges for additional virtual servers and additional bandwidth will be payable monthly on receipt of invoice.

Bandwidth is defined as the amount of data transferred by FTP, the web and e-mail. Clients have full access to usage reports.

The Isle of Wight Web-Hosting Company will not increase any prices without 4 weeks' warning. Bandwidth and reseller charges will not increase during any 12 month contract period.

Clients may not have pornographic or racially offensive material on their web sites. Clients may not break any laws in the United Kingdom, or in the country in which they are based, on our servers. If you have to ask you probably can not do it. This includes laws of libel and defamation.

Clients may not use our services to send out multiple unsolicited e-mails. Nor may they send out multiple unsolicited e-mails advertising any content on our servers via other service or hosting providers.

Content on web sites must be original. Copyrighted images, music, video or text must not be reproduced without the owner's permission.

Estimations of hits and page views on this web site are purely estimations. The amount of bandwidth used per page on a web site will vary from site to site.

Passwords must be kept secret and secure at all times.

This company accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damage of any sort done to individuals, organisations, clubs, bodies or companies through use of its servers.

No proportion of functionality is guaranteed.

Clients caught breaking rules above may have their hosting accounts removed.

The Isle of Wight Web-Hosting Company is not responsible for making back-ups of any of the data related to hosting accounts.
